A washed process mix of SL28, SL34, batian and ruiru 11 varieties produced by the Nyanjuki group in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya.

Refreshingly crisp and juicy with a ripe, round structure, this lot from the Nyanjuki producer group showcases why we love Kenyan coffee so much. Clean and bright, we find a cup profile which reminds us of dark berries, fresh stone fruit and citrus.

There are nine members of the Nyanjuki producer group, which was formed after they left the Faith Estate group which we bought from last year. Each of these producers own and operate a small estate in the Njukiini area and each processes their coffee on their own farms. After selective picking, the cherries are pulped and fermented in tanks for 12 hours before being washed in clean water and laid to dry on raised beds.
